Travel Blog: Australia’s Golden Coast

 11/25/2024

Today was all about beach time and checking out some of Australia’s famous Golden Coast 🏄‍♀️

The Gold Coast, is the sun drenched and made for fun coastline in southeast Queensland with beaches lined with high rises, and epic surf breaks. A Mecca for tourists and locals to vacation alike, there is endless activity options from surf lessons and shopping to water activities on all kinds of boats and jet skis. This area also boasts a couple of theme parks like Australia’s Warner Brothers Dream World and Wet n’ Wild.

Today we went to the Gold Coasts most famous beach- Surfers Paradise 🏄‍♀️🌊

This is the beach you expect when you come to Australia’s Golden Coast - endless white sands, and beautiful blue water line the skyline and we had a blast enjoying the waves and all this area had to offer.

Did you know Australia in total actually has 10,685 beaches ? You would literally have to spend years to try and visit all of them! You can fit all of Europe inside of Australia and still have room- it’s hard to wrap your head around just how massive Australia is - And that’s why we are flying between cities because often your looking at 20+ hour drives between big cities here.

Surfers Paradise is definitely your more touristy kind of beach area with lots of shops, restaurants and attractions. Just like in New Zealand we have found the public transportation to be super easy to use and very affordable! Brisbane was a great hub yet again to get us to another fantastic area to explore.

How ever many beaches you can see in the Land Down Under - you won’t be disappointed in any ! 🇦🇺🦘🦘
